Jan is a very quiet, but colorful character in the Taos community. He has remarkable features and has done sittings for us in Sherrie McGraw’s studio at Arroyo Seco. He is very creative in his own right, and his latest project is turning an old school bus into a modern RV. I did this portrait as a final project in a week of intense figure work at Sherrie’s in May 2018.
