Jerry Lee Tyner

Jerry Lee’s proud Oklahoma heritage includes Cherokee ancestors who walked the infamous “Trail of Tears.” From a hard scrabble western Oklahoma upbringing, Jerry built a successful life as an entrepreneur, sales professional, husband, father and outspoken advocate for things he believes in. He was one of our favorite and most active docents at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. In that role he combined his powerful intellectual curiosity with his insatiable desire to meet, engage and entertain, creating wonderfully memorable experiences for our visitors from across the globe. He uses different hats to capture different parts of the whole being. Jerry Lee personifies “joie de vivre” and he chooses each day to move toward the positive shine of life.
